It is with great sadness that the Club informs you that Mark Stringer, husband to Gill and father to Luke and Toby passed away on the 3rd August 2024 after a short illness. Mark was an enthusiastic supporter of the Club. He helped behind the scenes with the Junior Section for a number of years whilst Gill was running it and he even helped make up numbers by playing in the Junior Rush Tournament. More recently he could often be found on the sideline watching Luke and Toby.

In overall terms he was a great champion of the Club and will be sadly missed by many. At this very difficult time for Gill and the family our thoughts are very much with them and the Club has passed on its most sincere condolences.

The Club fully recognise that the family need time to grieve and adjust to life without Mark but look forward to them all returning to the Club when they are ready. At that time the Club will be sure to provide appropriate support to all of them as necessary.
